Grazia and Gavino chose the countryside just outside Sassari for their pre-wedding photography session, surrounded by greenery in a place deeply connected to my own story. When Grazia mentioned an old stone gazebo, I immediately knew where we should photograph their engagement session. This is the place where I was born and raised, surrounded by childhood walks with my grandmother, the sound of the river and a landscape that still inspires the way I photograph today. We are in the countryside of Sassari, in an area once known for its valley of mills and country houses surrounded by orchards. Time has changed these places, but the stone, vegetation and quiet atmosphere still give them a very distinctive character. An engagement session before the wedding is also an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for couples to feel more comfortable in front of the camera. As wedding photographers in Sassari and Sardinia, we often use pre-wedding photography to build a natural connection before the wedding day. We do not ask couples to perform a series of staged poses. We prefer to walk, talk and allow the photographs to develop naturally, offering guidance only when necessary.
