Francesca and Luca first came to our studio almost two years before their wedding, bringing with them plenty of ideas and the desire to create a celebration that truly reflected their personalities. Their wedding was inspired by the elegance and atmosphere of the 1920s and The Great Gatsby. This theme influenced every detail of the day, from the outfits to the styling, and had already become part of their story during their engagement session in Paris. Their civil ceremony took place at the Domus de Janas in Sennori, surrounded by limestone rocks and the landscape of northern Sardinia. Francesca and Luca were the first couple to celebrate a civil wedding ceremony in this setting, making the location even more meaningful to their story. Their outfits were also closely connected to the style of the wedding. Luca wore the historic Carabinieri uniform during the ceremony, while Francesca’s wedding dress was designed and created by Elisabetta Delogu. Throughout the day, both changed their looks, culminating in Francesca’s final transformation with a 1920s-inspired wavy bob. After the ceremony, the celebration continued at Borgo degli Ulivi in Sorso, where the styling and decorative elements transformed the venue according to the elegant and theatrical atmosphere imagined by the couple. As wedding photographers in Sassari and northern Sardinia, we especially love celebrations that genuinely reflect the people at their centre. Dresses, venues and styling help create the atmosphere, but it is the spontaneous emotions, relationships and unexpected moments that truly shape the story. Our approach to wedding photography is natural and discreet. We follow the day without interrupting it, creating images that preserve both the important moments and the meaningful details that make every wedding unique. Through wedding photography and film, we were able to tell Francesca and Luca’s story from beginning to end, preserving a celebration filled with personality, style and genuine emotion.
